Darren Chu is the Founder of Tradable Patterns and the current CIO of Chancery Hill Ventures. Before his current endeavors, Darren Chu worked as NYSE Liffe's country manager for Australia, India, and the United Arab Emirates before the launch of Tradable Patterns. Until his departure in mid-April 2014, Intercontinental Exchange (which acquired NYSE Liffe) had expanded his responsibilities to include managing Liffe business development in APAC outside of Japan and Korea. His main responsibility was cultivating relationships with Liffe clients, prospects, and partners in the markets for London soft commodities (Robusta coffee, cocoa, and white sugar), Paris (MATIF), and proprietary trading rate benchmarks like the Euribor, Short Sterling, Gilts, and London/European index futures including the FTSE and CAC. Darren previously spent four years marketing Canadian futures and options across North America, London, Singapore, and Hong Kong for the TMX Group | Montreal Exchange.
